Weird groaning noise behind steering wheel area on cold starts?

Hi All,

My car recently has been doing this weird groaning noise on cold starts, once the car is warmed up if I restart it, it's not there, but 99% of the time it will happen on a cold start. Sounds like someone almost.. wiping a glass window

Anyone have this before or have any ideas?

I would look at the pulleys and belts first. Never heard such noise from them but thats the only reasonable explanation i can come up with since its heat dependent.

Maybe have someone crank the engine for you while you listen with the hood open to pinpoint the exact location.

It's happening only at the very start correct?
