Hey, was looking to reach out about this specific noise. Its been driving me nuts. I've checked/replace some parts from the heat shielding, pipes, and the exhaust valve but it stills seems to persist. Im sitting around 38K miles - stock. Can definitely check again though...
While this video was from an i30N user this is the same exact noise...unfortunately a year later that post never found/posted a resolution to the noise.
In their words..."It happens normally once it's up to temp and most noticeable when sat on a long road doing 60/70mph cruising and it will come and go. If you are sat with gentle throttle application it makes the noise , if you release the throttle it goes away and it also stops on harder application of the throttle."
