Hi everyone, my car had a problem today. It started to shake on the motorway whenever I accelerated. I drove to the garage and was told it was down to the spark plug. I was also told that only Original spark plugs are allowed in the car. Is that correct, or can you use others as well? Spark plug / ignition coil

If you remove one of your spark plugs the necessary information is printed on the ceramic insulator
The spark plug code is SILZKR8H9G; these are the original NGK plugs, but without the Hyundai packaging. They shouldn't give you any trouble. I'm not so sure about the ignition coils you're suggesting. They might argue that they provide more "spark" (theoretically), but the question is: is the car still under warranty?
