It looks like there is an actuator too, which I assume responds to N Custom / sport modes etc.

No actuator. It’s the delete to stop the factory system from bringing up warning alarms.

Ended up buying a second hand set that was serviced.

Really happy with the outcome, in particular:
-adjustable front camber
- excellent front end feel at pace
- digressive dampers make a difference on big bumps
- 12 stages
0-2 a bit bounce/oscillating
3-4 less bouncy
4-7 very usable on street
8-12 track type settings

between 4-7 would be a half way damper setting between Normal and Sport for i30n PFL.

I do not miss adjustability of standard/OEM dampers (i.e Sport or Sport+).

To note, for OEM wheels 19x8 ET55, there is only a 3-4mm clearance between rim/sidewall, and the coilover.
