Scott's Ecotronic Gray Matte 5N

Shall we change our focus?

Would you mind exploring the possibility of incorporating venturi blades beneath the vehicle to enhance aerodynamic performance and mitigate turbulence?
Have you explored the potential benefits of custom-designed electric plastic inserts to optimize airflow around the front and rear wheels?
Have you considered developing two distinct alignment configurations—one optimized for the Nürburgring and the other prioritizing extended tire lifespan?
Have you contemplated further refinements to the underbody air diffusion system, addressing areas currently unaddressed due to production constraints?

Hi, it's Scott from Taiwan. I'm new to Hyundai world, coming from VAG.

Just picked up my 5N last month and this is my first EV (so excited🤩), car was in PPF shop for fully matte PPF right after delivery, almost a month to get it done.

After PPF, Rotiform wheels from my previous car fitted to 5N last week, and my roofbox as well.

Will be doing KW V3 next week to lower the car height a bit, will share more photos 🥲
The colour looks great! Love it.

I've always wanted to upgrade my 5N for better handling and reduced body roll, and I came across these parts:

I can't wait to get these installed 🤩! I'll be sure to share my thoughts once they're on.

Driving on the highway during the holidays, I tried a bit of spirited driving, quickly switching lanes with a "lightning run" style. The stability has greatly improved, and I no longer feel that nervousness I used to have. The car feels slightly bouncier on rough roads, maybe that's due to the V3 suspension? The slightly bouncy feeling isn't uncomfortable at all, though. I'm super satisfied! I have to say, the car feels much more solid overall.

Quick update on my IONIQ 5 N since my December 2024 post:
  • Sound deadening (trunk + rear wheel arches): The stock insulation was pretty weak. After treatment, road roar and rear end resonance are noticeably reduced, especially on coarse asphalt.

  • Roof box: Swapped to a sleeker unit. Looks better and I’m getting less wind noise at speed.

  • Seats: Replaced the OEM seats with Recaros. Comfort and support are way up. Only downside: I lost seat ventilation.

  • Suspension: Moved from KW V3 to air suspension. Pure ride quality is still a touch better on the V3, but the air setup is very close and way more practical for me. I was scraping at certain places with my preferred V3 ride height; now I can lift the car when I need the extra clearance and keep it low the rest of the time.

Hi, your N is looking fantastic!

Question though,
Is the yellow piping around your N Vinyl?

I've started the process of removing my Orange strip, which are painted snap in piece, that are originally, dark gray color-unpainted push in pieces from the factory-
Completely from my front, and just leave the side and rear in place, for an all black front end.
My question is, did you have to drop the frt bumper to wrap or paint the frt strip?
