Hello guys.
Today I was in my Hyundai service to make an appointment for wheels change (my winter-summer set) and I asked about my next month year service. Guy checked my VIN and told me that my car have recall for fuel pump. I laughted because problem with HPFP is known for years on this forum and in my car I upgraded myself HPFP to TCR version few years ago.
My car is i30n performance PFL late 2018 (MY19 version) - so lets say quite old, but still on the list for a recall FOR FREE.
I saw recall actions before in Australia but nothing in EU about i30N (I'm from Poland).
My technican told me that this action is from MAY 2025 ?! Wow. No one called me and informed me about this.

Please check your dealers - call them/ask them about it if you are from european countries.

Hi everyone,
I brought my 08/2020 Fastback to Hyundai in March for a recall software update. Here’s my experience and a new "issue" I’ve noticed:

The Update:
The update took about 20-30 minutes. Regarding the exhaust: many people claim that the "bubbles/pops" at low RPMs decrease after the update, but I can’t confirm that – it sounds the same to me.
The Cold Start "Neighbor Problem":
The biggest change is that I can no longer start the car quietly. Even in ECO mode, the exhaust valve stays open during every cold start now. I don't mind, but my neighbors aren't exactly thrilled!
New Start-up Behavior:
For the past two weeks, I’ve noticed a change in the RPM logic during startup. Usually, the revs would jump straight to ~2k RPM and then slowly drop. Now, they seem to "stumble" or pause at 1,400 RPM for a split second before jumping up to 2k.

I can confirm this answer:
"HPFP is only to be replaced if the code P0088 is thrown. Otherwise its just a normal ECU software update".
Today my dealer told me the same info. So - no new pump for me.
