I have disassembled my tailgate previously for other reasons and its literally held on by 2 10mm nuts

i cant tell if it sticks on top of the red bar or whether it replaces the bar itself 🤔
 
Personally, after visually comparing the i20 and i20N, I see no difference in the fitment of the center reflector or center light conversion.

Sometimes it takes a trail blazer to do the diligence and take the opportunity to fit the unit to realize, a go of no go fitment.

Considering the cost of less than $70.00 US, it’s worth the purchase and fitment.👍🇺🇸

Would love to see something like this in action. Once the car arrives and I’m done with my short list of mods, I’ll definitely add this to it and will report back

I doubt it is actually made in India, so a search of AliExpress may well find it.

the scanning feature isn’t legal in the U.K. though and there has to be a limit to how many break lights you need on the back of a car - no?

Although I’m not clued up on what the scanning feature is the legality for brake lights is that you must have a minimum of 2 to pass an MOT (Audi have started to integrate the entire rear of the car as one brake light) and your 3rd brake light is optional

Even 2 years later, I couldn't find anything specifically for i20N. All the results are from India where they have the standard i20 (I still don't know if it would fit or not), and from what I saw on YT the installation is a wiring nightmare.
 
There are quite a few vids on youtube where people have fitted centre light strips to I20s - some flash and some work as break lights

I purchased one from India to test this, it doesn't fit unfortunately
 
The lower unit is the genuine one. As you can see, they are quite different and the two bolt points are also in the wrong place.
