Hello,

Since now 3 weeks I finally have an i20N. Unfortunately, I now have increased on the driver's side and / or engine compartment a rattling / nailing / vibrating noise when accelerating or quickly take off the gas. It is relatively difficult to describe and I have not been able to pinpoint the exact source.
It occurs in all driving modes. Have also read and tested a lot here in the group and could not find anything so far.
I have temporarily disabled the sound generator by removing the fuse. Unfortunately without result.
Maybe someone has that too or a solution for it.

I could even make a video in the meantime. unfortunately the file is too big to upload here, i created a wetransfer link

Have you reported it to your seller?

I think you should report everything. Nothing to do with taking everything too seriously, but how can Hyundai / a garage solve something if such issues are never reported.

I also have, see my thread on this, strange vibrating noises since it got warmer (but could be coincidence regarding temperature). Now they have been gone for about 1 week.

I still have an appointment in mid-July to have it checked out.

Yes I have already been to the dealer.

This could not find anything yet, a 2nd appointment is already fixed.

During the test drive, the noise was of course not heard, but it was only a short drive. next drive it was there again.

It was already checked du door panel and a heat plate from the exhaust tightened.

Problems are still there. Immediately after starting the engine everything is still good, as soon as the engine warms up it starts.

I'm starting to think that it comes from the engine compartment and is transferred to the interior. Always when accelerating and when the gas is removed, it can be heard immediately.

It is to despair

After a long search, I found the source of the noise myself. And contrary to what I suspected, it wasn't coming from the door or the dashboard.

It was the plastic trim to the right of the accelerator pedal. Behind it is the heater. The trim always bangs against the metal when it vibrates.
