So there was a post on FB group "Hyundai i30n worldwide" which said:
"Check the connection of the full LED headlamps to see if there is no water coming from under the hood to the connections. Yesterday I was in the service, a completely rusty cube with electric wires was found. This may be a manufacturing defect of the i30n, water is draining directly onto this connection .... well, there is little rain and snow in Korea .... !!!"
I personally did a thorough wash (pressure washing also used) of the car today and popped the hood to check for this, there were definitely some water droplets present on the headlight connectors which couldn't mean anything good in the long run. Since I don't have any other idea, I will put some quality temperature/water resistant silicone tape around those two connectors and the wires coming out of them to shield this from the upcoming washes. You might want to check this and save it from potential upcoming problems.
