Noisy rear brakes.

Hi N_stage,

I basically had it in 5 times, each time the garage heard the noise and told me it was strange.
Also got a call from Hyundai head office telling me that this was normal for sports car (hahaha, not a sports car)... and said if I have the issue take it up with the local garage, so round and round we go.

On the last visit they seem to have managed to almost remove the noise completely, I hear it very very rarely and faint.
(maybe they removed my breaks :) )
Although with somewhat fixing whatever - I now have a stupid clunking noise and rattle in the rear left section of the car.
I got them to take a look at it and they said it was the cables which they tied down. Oh but no! still clunks.

Also found that the car now makes a faint grinding noise in the front wheels - So yeah not the best experience with this particular build!! Not sure if they have dropped the quality of the manufacturing as previous I20N I had was rock solid!

My old man has one, same year and he's is ok..... who knows - no one seems be able to answer why.

I was told a few times that there are no safety concerns as they checked all components and all the breaking systems work and align correctly. Just annoying as hell!
