As the title says, my car stopped crackling and popping when in N Mode after doing a software update, which is a big bummer to me since its sound was one of the main reasons I bought my car almost 4 years ago.
This happened after I came back from a 4 week vacation where the car wasn't started. When I got back home, I went to start it and it simply wouldn't, it made some sort of ticking noise that would later be revealed to be a dead battery. While trying to figure out what was going on, I updated the car's software.
I then changed the battery next day and went for a small drive to check if everything was ok, including N Mode (basic and custom) and it wasn't popping or crackling anymore. I now suspect this to be due to the software update made the day prior.
Is there any way to come back to an older version or to get the crackles and pops back? Now it just revs high and it looks like the car wants to give me more sound but can't.
