Just like rubbing/cleaning alcohol you can get in a shop. You don't need to do this step but it will help the glue to bond properly

No! Don't use nail polish remover (acetone), it can dissolve some plastics!!
Just use isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol!
Yes, don't use Aceton / Acrysol based cleaners. But there are some without acetone and only isopropyl. So if you want to use it, first read the ingredients 
Simply clean it and wash it away with clear water, then dry with a lint-free clean rag. A friend experienced that the material became brittle and totally bleached from the residues. But it was an old Opel, so I don't know if it's the same plastic.
Silicone remover is also working. Used that long time ago for paintjobs.

Could someone please measure the size of the N indentation? Maybe they are the same size as the N badge on the engine cover or the one on the boot/other N emblems. I can get these things very cheap here in Korea - maybe I'll forward them to those who want a pair.
From the dealership, I'm being told that these were designed / being produced by Hyundai Austria - that's why they're not available for all Hyundai markets.
