Just wanted to show how I park my i30 N and to give some Perspectives.
Working on having a Custom plank under the rubber Curb ramps.
I have not heard any scraping noises ever since I got the car.
But it does give me anxiety each day and night when parking it and out.
Would love to see the comments on this one.

If this gives you anxiety, I'll take you to a couple underground parking lots, and then introduce you to my psychiatrist because you're going to need some help for your panic attacks. These architects/engineers that make these slopes/ramps/whatever need to be fired and exiled in some other universe.

I actually agree
And to be honest I do have a psychiatric
Told me to check out the Hyundai Store in our city to see for a good fun car
Well he wasnt wrong and now its my best moment of my life to own it.

Every time I have to park somewhere I've never been before, I always think I'll end up like this guy:

That is...yea yikes
There I can see a sharp angle + speed bump
Thats some awful engineering against cars.
Mind making speed bumps for Humans now too for them to not run and drive bicycles over the zebra.

That ramp reminds me of my old driveway.

There must be some research to improve things if you cannot change the angle, maybe just a curved bit at the transition to keep the nose up or a transition to a shallower angle in the last meter or so.

If you hit the bottom of the ramp at speed its so much worse. You can hit the bottom slow and at an angle helps.

I actually have 2 options that I've set for myself
Option: A. Slightly Bigger plank to lift the Rubber Ramps. B. Custom build Steel Ramp that might not fit.

When I do go slowly over I do not hear any grinding noise, beside its just a plastic lip under it (Shown in the picture),as long as it doesnt clip on the front.

There is a product called Sliplo. Still get the scrape noise but it is a sacrificial piece of plastic. Since fitting it, I have not seen any further scrape damage to the front splitter (from my wife’s driving, I might add!)

There is a rubber damper system you can install, that will protect the underside of the spoiler and it's called; SLIPLO. https://sliplo.shop/

This will sufficiently protect the underside of the spoiler. When it becomes worn down you can simply remove it and install more. I utilize them on the VN andthe work well protecting the spoiler.👍🇺🇸

It is a good suggestion that ill consider.
Thank you good sir.
