My Lemon i30N (ex-demo)

Yeah will try to find out and let you know. What's the easiest way to find out car build date?

When I spoke to Luton they told me all their cars would be MY20 if I was to order now, so I presumed it would be same with Eden.

As for the detailer, I am doing a full exterior and interior protection package and will be using these guys: https://www.definitionsdetailing.co.uk/

More updated pics on their facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/definitionsdetailing/

£450 all in, done in 48 hours.
build date not sure maybe some labels on the door inners just know the differences between models
thks and gl with the ceramic coating , ive had various quotes and amount of time from 300-1000 and up too 5 days prep and curing time

This^ can be shortened by using a drying booth or lamps to reduce curing time. I remember when this first came out, along with nano waxes and treatments. Dealerships offered it as an $600 package option.

You'd have to bring the car in every 3 months for a touch up.

Yes it's that one. Essentially it's been on that website without a picture ever since it was advertised for sale after it's demo life. Since then it's had 2 owners in the space of 3-4 weeks and has been returned both times.

The price is what made me go for it in the first place, it was the colour that I wanted and really cheap for the mileage it's on (which is now around 4500 FYI).

Don't hold your breath on the not washing part. They will wash it so they can inspect the paint and bodywork for damage or defects during transport. It's standart PDI precedure. Never heard of anyone being able to concince a dealership to NOT wash a new car upon delivery. I've tried 3 times with 3 different cars/dealerships and every single time it was washed. The detailer will take care of any swirl marks they leave anyways :)

First time around the dealership was great about not touching the car, drove it home like this and was able to give it it's first fillup. 2nd time around I was not so lucky, tank filled with regular unleaded and my detailer said it looked like someone took a pushbroom to the paint. Needless to say there was extensive paint correction required.

In regards to your previous question about MY, I have just had this back from the Dealer:

"The car that you are getting is a MY20 model as they are the ones that you can get hold of from new as of now. I will keep you updated regarding the status for delivery. "

I will confirm once again when I get it. What colour did your order yours in?

so are you having a ceramic coat ? is the fuel going be a big difference ? i know it will be in the pocket if i rag it around on 97 all week lol

The car felt peppier once i filled up with higher octane but didn't notice anything significantly bad. Yes after correction the car received the "9 year" gtechniq crystal serum ultra black. Loving it so far mainly because I've only put a wash mitt on it once so far in 6 months, touchless washing is keeping it clean (except for brake dust but less noticeable on my black wheels). First time I've owned a black car so really trying to touch the paint as little as possible.
