Mudflaps - yay or nay

My bad. That explains why the fitting kit looks different and the front mud flaps have a different number of holes in them

I like the little '91 ad "interruptions" beginning and end. I know most car companies have come along way in the last 20 years but surely nobody outside of "the know" could have predicted this N thing even 5 years ago.
I purchased a set of black RallyFlapz with the "N" logo. Pretty easy to install but the holes were actually a little out of alignment which meant that the rear flaps were hung outboard a little. Had to re-drill two of the four holes about 10mm away from the originals to allow the flaps to swing in enough to look straight with the wheels. The top hole on each rear flap doesn't need to be re-drilled, just the two below that. The inboard fourth hole is used by the supplied self tapper which screws anywhere into the inner cowl once the flap has been aligned correctly. Although, the supplied screws aren't quite long enough to fasten the 4mm thick flap, 4mm spacer and 1mm metal bracket and through into the inner cowl material. Just used longer ones I had lying around.

This could be the answer but depends if the OP is prepared to grind and grind consistently to protect those painted areas.
You can as loafer-N77 says, however I would say if you have a decent jack taking the back wheels off makes it a 5 minute job per wheel max and easy to make sure they are on properly.
Fronts take 2 mins and a wheel turn.

Yes, you just need to utilize an offset ratcheting screwdriver and you don't have to take the wheels off either. I've already mounted a several sets and it takes less than 30 minutes to do all four wheel locations.

Samey same, no issue to remove it at least for the VN and every other car I've mounted them on. Always have an offset ratchet screwdriver kit in your tool box. If not, add one. They can make the job so much simpler in the long run. The same with a set of offset ratchet wrenches.If you can get your hand on it, rather on your back, kneeling or standing, you can get a offset ratchet wrench or screwdriver on it. Both have saved me a vast amount of time and effort.

I didn't have the tools at hand unfortunately. I did mine at the side of the road outside the friends house. My garage was the other side of town when I started the job.

Flapz in full function at recent track day. No rear shots unfortunately.
So between RallyArmor and RallyFlapz, which one do you consider being better?
From what I understand, RallyArmor is better in terms of aesthetics, they are slightly shorter so a little more "discreet"?
Also they are ready to fit, compared to Flapz which may need some drilling adjustments?
Finally, I see that they cost almost double the price (on UK sites).. Is that also question of better quality?
And one last question... Has anyone managed to order the Rally Armor N genuine Hyundai outside US or Canada? Perhaps at the dealership using the part number?...

The N Rally Armor Flaps are exclusively for Canada not the US. I ordered a set from a Canadian Dealership Parts. You won't be able to get them, unless they're ordered from a Canadian direct.
I was going to order a set of FlapZ's with the N. They're made of a stiffer material than the Rally Armor urethane units. Price to ship was to high. That I'm aware of, the FlapZ units made for the i30N are a direct bolt up. https://www.rallyflapz.co.uk/i30n-fastback--black-mudflaps-3466-p.asp
