So this was a bit of a surprise... the Ioniq 5 N Performance Sound Pack showed up in the Ioniq 5 N Performance Parts shop on the N Performance Shop website (unless you're a Korean native or linguistically talented, you might need to get your browser to translate to your native language).
It's essentially a replacement N Active Sound module (I believe it's referred to as 'N Active Sound Plus') with enhanced versions of the 'Ignition', 'Evolution' and 'Supersonic' (not sure why they decided to call them all the same names as the original). I have heard a few YouTube sound examples which there is a lot more popping and banging going on with "Ignition" and what sounds like turbo valve whistle on "Evolution"... but it's not easy to tell from the audio. My guess is that this will either be available as an option or will be fitted as standard on the 2027 or facelifted 2028 cars.
A few "Redditors" are already expressing disappointment that this isn't an OTA software update or that there isn't a dramatically different sound pallet (Ignition still appears to be based around a 4 cylinder turbo engine) but it's an exciting development nevertheless. Like all other N Performance parts, I suspect the likelihood of its availability in the UK is nonexistent... but if anyone here has any experience of it they'd like to share, please reply to this post.
