Intercooler

Hi, I've owned an i20n for a year, when you put the car on the limit the performance drops a lot, so I want to change the intercooler.
Living in italy it costs me a lot to import Airtec or Forge.
I saw this intercooler, made in China:

Has anyone already tried to buy it or had any experience with Chinese intercoolers?

I would stay well away from that. Will be cheap quality at that price. They have even used Airtecs photos. May be worth having a look at Wagner intercoolers they are expensive but I doubt you will pay any import costs as I suspect you will have a dealer in Italy.

I’d rather pay more if better quality which it is for Airtec and Forge than go cheap Chinese crap. It’ll be worth it in the long run.

wagner is the best, second is forge and third airtec.

I would say that a number of the smaller suppliers of aftermarket intercoolers source them from China and they are the ones AliExpress sell. Consider this, the end sections of the intercooler are cast aluminium and this is not a process that is economically practical for a small manufacturer. If you are in doubt look at the mounting tabs and compare them to the AliExpress item.
