i30n stolen without the keys, possibly we too are at risk

Not too sure if you know but you can disable the keyless entry using the key fob. Lock the door with the fob and hold it down. Once locked keep the lock button pressed then press and hold the unlock button at the same time until the indicators flash 4 times. Keyless entry is now disabled. Works on most Kia models as well.
how do you reverse it?
and do you mean it disables proximity detection of the key, or the fob cannot be used at all and you literally need to unlock it with the physical key, which involves uncapping the driver handle...

So you deactivate the function to open/close the car with the buttons on the door handle yes?

Is that a huge gain in safety?
To drive away you further don't need the key physically and just need the signal of the key as before

It deactivates the keyless entry. You'll then need to press the unlock button to reactivate it. Keyless start will work again.
to be clear, a keyfob button is still kinda 'keyless'. i was hoping to clarify that it just disables the proximity detection of the keyfob and using the button on the handle. If replay attacks can't emulate the code that is sent when pressing the button on the keyfob then this makes more sense now.

Thanks for the info that this is just until next unlocked with the keyfob button.
