Owned since new (September 21).

I've noticed in the last few weeks, there are absolutely no pops and bangs coming from the exhaust anymore, in any N mode.

Even in NGS mode, the engine is screaming, but there is no noise from the exhaust.

I previously owned an Arbath Spider that has a valve that seized shut, so I'm wondering if the same thing is happening on FL i30Ns?

Could be the issue, the exhaust spring for the valve isn't the best. There are more durable third party replacements available. But since you're still under warranty, I'd contact my local dealer for this issue.

Hi, I too have notice a lack of pops and bangs on my 21 FL. (Like rimrider I have owned since new) I do get a few little rumbles, and I know its not the spring , the exhaust note changes when I pick sport or N mode.
It used to be really loud in N mode and good in sport.. I am hoping as the weather get warmer the exhaust will be hotter so ignite the overrun better. If not I will be taking it to the dealer . Unless anyone else has any ideas.
I wonder if the fuel has changed? I have used the recommended Shell for the last 6 months on every fill. I'll try a 99 octane next fill and see if that makes any difference.
I dont and never have driven aggressivly and ever since I bought new has been a lovely sporty noise until last couple of months.

Ditto on getting it checked by the dealer. FYI, if you have the AC turned on that reduces the pops and bangs as well.

I have the exact same Problem now. They are completelly gone? Could it be the ecu update they did?

Or is it really related to the exhaust spring?

Ps: it works again, after 1 day? 3/4 car starts later, weird. (however i did unplug battery for 10+minutes to reset ecu, maybe that helped)

This ☝️

My exhaust spring is gone. It's been ordered from the seller since November 27th and they still don't know when it will arrive.
Can someone tell me where else I can get it?

After replacing the spring, the exhaust sound became about 30-40% quieter. Should I call a service center or is there something I can do myself?
