Hey Guys and Girls,
Wondered if you can help me out please.

I have an I30 Pde Tourer which I have facelifted with N wheels and front end, I have taken the interior from the N and fitted it in.
Passenger seat I wired a separate power and earth to the plug and the seat works.

The drivers side however will not operate. I have swapped the switch out with a known good one and It is fine the guy I got the seat off swears it works and I can believe that as how would they have unbolted it otherwise.

I cannot locate a RHD wiring diagram for the Drivers seat - all models show a 4 way connector on the seat. Mine has 20+ Pins (12 Way) Pin four of the plug is power.

Anyone got a wiring diagram for this or can aid in what other wires I need to run to the drivers seat to get it operational.
Im a Hyundai tech and have had a look through all the PDe and PDEN wiring diagrams and none have the drivers seat wiring schematic for a 12 way.

Thanks Al

Wiring diagrams should be updated to reflect your needs after the new year.

Thanks for the reply.
I'm not quite sure you've helped at all.

I will not be waiting until next year.

I have also in the time waiting for assistance fixed it myself.

For those who wish to know.

My Seat has IMS - Memory function.
I had to run two powers and and extra earth to the IMS Module itself. (Switches not required on door card)

See Diagram.

Seat works perfectly fine. Happy friday to you all.
And I hope this helps someone wanting to retrofit electric N Seats to a non electric seat vehicle.

Hi, I'm actually attempting this myself (but in a completely different car). You did not have to wire anything else for the seats to work? I have read one seat has a master module and also controls the other seat. Same would go for the heating options.

Good morning hope you had a good Christmas.

No. Providing the modules are present under the seat. Specifically drivers side. You do not need to link the seat wiring. I thought this also but I had to do nothing of the sort.

Just power and ground to passenger plug.

Wire the drivers module as my diagram.

I too will be fitting another set in another brand car sometime this year.

Thanks for the fast reply mate hope you had a good Christmas as well. To be sure, your seats were RHD spec I guess (don't know if that would matter or LHD would be the same)?

Yes thanks. Was full on food and lots of wine lol.
Mine were for RHD. If you need wiring for lhd let me know I can get them for you. The wires for power and ground will be the same just need to locate the correct pins.

Just checked, the seats are actually RHD but they will be mounted in a LHD car (Kia sportage III)

Thanks, appreciate it! Will dry test them first with a seperate 12V power supply to make sure everything works. Just need to know if I have to take other items into account when placing RHD seats into an LHD car (for instance seat occupancy sensors).

Quick question since I do not have the seats yet, can you measure the seat height and width for me?

Hello! Which wires did you add to the plug of the passenger seat to make it work? I tried fitting an Alcantara electric seat to replace my manual cloth seat but the electrics are not working (passenger side).
I can see that on the plug I am missing a black and brown wire, is that the power for the seat?
Thanks a lot

Hey would you mind sending me a pin layout or both wiring diagrams. I would love to do this as well. Looking to get seats soon
