I have owed my i20N for three years. There is a switch on the driver’s door that folds in/out both wing mirrors. I believe that, like the other switches on the door panel, this switch is supposed to be internally illuminated when the car’s lights are on. A few months ago the illumination stopped working (the folding still works). My local Hyundai dealer is telling me that this switch doesn’t have illumination and all i20Ns are the same but I am convinced mine was illuminated because I fold in the mirrors when reversing into the garage at night and now I can’t see the switch. Could other owners please confirm whether this switch illuminates or am I just going crazy?

The folding mirrors switch is 100% NOT (and has never been) illuminated. Much to my disgust as I curse it every time I try to find the button to fold my mirrors to put it in my garage! (Like you)
So, yep, the bad news is that you’re going crazy…but the ‘good’ news is that the switch illumination isn’t bust, it was never there! lol.
