Hi everyone,
I own a Hyundai i20 N with approximately 9,000 km.
It has not been used on a track. I only use it for short distances.
I've noticed a very slight oil sweating around the oil pan sealing surface, particularly between the oil pan bolts.
The oil residue is light yellow and barely noticeable. There are no oil drops on the ground, and the engine oil level has remained completely stable.
Interestingly, after cleaning the area, it remains completely dry following a 100 km drive. However, after several short trips over a period of 1–2 weeks, a slight oily film appears again.
Has anyone experienced something similar with their i20 N or i30 N?
Could this be a minor RTV sealant issue?
Would you recommend monitoring it or having the oil pan resealed?
Thanks!
