Hyundai i20N Dragon Red Pearl photo thread

I think the red is the only colour would have absolutely specced the black roof with, looks really smart -probably would have been my choice if there was an option to re-colour the blue interior hghlights (or just black/grey them out).

I collected mine today, still dirty and transport wrapping on the roof.

It's in for ceramic coating on Monday so will post some more detailed photos next week.

This is a cracking colour I must admit and really happy I decided to take the offer of this cancelled order.

Update on mine here.

Had a Gyeon Ceramic treatment today and a piece of PPF placed on the loading area of the rear bumper. All done by Craig and Greg at Staffordshire Car Care.

It is a phenomenal colour now it's clean and coated, really pops under the right lights and in the sun.

It will be an easy task to keep clean now with the ceramic coating too, even when it does get absolutely filthy. Can't really tell it has the PPF on the loading area either. I had PPF on my bonnet and bumper on my last car but decided against it this time as It required very careful washing of those parts. However, I have now picked up a stone chip on the bumper on my way home yesterday, so if I had gone for the bumper PPF that would have self-healed... Never mind. Nothing a careful touch-up won't solve. Ordered a touch-up pen yesterday too.
Looks great, same spec as mine. Mine is booked in for coating on arrival might get that strip on boot as well thats a good idea
Definitely worth doing, it is so easy to scratch that area putting things in and out the boot so PPF will self-heal and you won't even notice. Ask the detailer when you book in (or email them if you've already booked in) to keep any off-cuts from another PPF install they do that same week of yours, they will do it cheaper than ordering a specific full sheet and charging you the full price. Staffs CC charged me ÂŁ50 for that bit inc. fitting otherwise it would have been ÂŁ80.
Not much difference but its a little saving.

Yeah for the cost I think it's worth getting PPF done. I'll probably get at least the bonnet and wings done on mine when it arrives! Sad that you've got a stone chip on it already! I'd be gutted!

Yeah, photos don't do justice how good the dragon red is. Not sure what type of paint it is, metallic maybe, but first time I seen it properly I was pretty impressed. Photos just don't pick up the sparkle in it. Killer paint.

Right?! It’s a aggressive colour that demands attention, plenty of neck snaps driving through town. (the exhaust also helps)

I replaced the front badge with a black one this morning, still have the rear one to do but that is a job for when I have a couple of hours spare and have some spare clips.

The front one is changed within 15s. Just a case of getting a finger round the back and pressing one of the side retaining clips and it pops that side out and then just take it off with the other hand.

Badges bought from Hyundai Germany are a genuine part.

pulling half the back end off to replace the rear badge seems like a lot of effort! I'll probably just go with the overlay.

It does. I enjoy taking things apart and stuff, being an engineer, so will take it all apart anyway. Need to get a bag of chocolate clips from Hyundai before I attempt it though.

Total understand the reasoning behind the overlays though. Much easier process.

yeah agree with enjoying taking things apart but taking most of the back end off to replace the badge is a lot of a faff! I dont want to break anything in the process! lol!
