In that video is my MY18 car.. "controlled by Korea.." Mhm.. Thats why everyone should print these screens to proof that it's not impossible. If they use the latest (or the end of 2017) Version of Hyundai GDS and they own a Hyundai VCI this shouldn't be a problem. This makes me sad how dedicated some dealers are.

plenty of shops nearby, i'll go to number three in spring for servicing and ask them :)

also my new winter tires came with 3.1 bar in the front o_O

I don't know why some dealers / service departments are like this. They now risk losing you as a customer as you state you will check if another dealer will do what is part of the pre delivery inspection and car configuration according to Hyundai Australia at least.
Maybe it is too easy to service and repair garden variety Elantras and Tucsons. :rolleyes: and too hard to actually do their job properly. "Mini Rant" over.

How did this go ? I need mine programmed in Australia too. Did they charge you anything for it ?

I'm interested in purchasing Diagnostic reader for my i30n, what model is yours? Does it just do Hyundai/Kia or does it do other marques too? How much did it cost? Thanks.

Yes it is - you have to ask them to program it for you though - I had it done at the 1st service and they all go up and down with the key.
 
Do you think this could be enabled on models without the "Functions packet" (standard key fob, no start stop push button)?
