HEL Oil Cooler i20N

Hi all,
I'm looking into oil cooler options for the i20N. The best option looks to be the one from HEL, the only one (afaik) that comes with a thermostat avoiding too low oil temps during normal driving.

Now, because the i20N has two different OEM oil-water cooler installations, HEL offers two different versions:

What is unclear to me is why 2024 is listed as "Not Currently Supported", as I thought that Hyundai changed the installation to a 4 bolts one in 2023 onwards, without further modifications (indeed AIRTEC offers only two configs for their own oil cooler, either 5 or 4 bolts: https://www.airtecmotorsport.com/product/airtec-motorsport-oil-cooler-for-hyundai-i20n/)

Is anyone aware of possible differences between 2023 MY and 2024 MY in terms of OEM oil cooler?

Hi,
Not interested in additional oil cooler, but also interested in the reason of the 2 different OEM oil cooler setups.
I have discovered that fact months ago and don't have an answer.
The different cooler goes hand in hand with the UFI and Mahle oil filter I guess.
Never understood this

The HEL (and Airtec) solution converts the oil cooler from water cooled to air cooled and I’m not convinced this is a better solution.

I have a friend who installed the AIRTEC oil cooler and oil temp is never above 105deg (I have seen >125deg at the track in summer). The problem with AIRTEC’s is that it does not come with a thermostat and in winter oil temp does not surpass 70deg which is quite low.

But that’s missing the point of the question

There isnt a MY24 officially. Its just a MY23.

The next step is to the MY25 and i found out it has a different oil filter, so there could be other differences too.

Bu11eT's oil cooler on his i30n is an Airtec, and those have a thermostat. I guess they have a different plate where it connects to the block.

There are already Mahle and UFi oil filters and two different OEM oil coolers already out there for 2020-2024 models and now you state there is a third variant? Hell no why Hyundai makes it so complicated

I’ve got the airtec oil cooler on my 23 i20N.
Can’t fault it, temps sit around 20 degrees c cooler compared to previous. Track time raises the temps but still sit a good 10-15 degrees c cooler than stock.
