Do you have a tuning box?
Makes sense in theory, I am about to find out in the real world. Will leave it to @Stash-N to report his findings first though, will be a far more entertaining readBased on what has been said to my untrained eye it does somewhat sound like symptoms of higher octane. Slower to burn could make for less enthusiastic bangs and more carbon on the tailpipes due to unburnt fuel?
We are talking "stock as a rock". Only thing not original is the factory fill oil as I changed this at a little over 1500kms.Do you have a tuning box?
Mine is the same, I don't always get the same number of pops and crackles.I didn't notice any difference with 95/98/102 fuel, sound wise.
Anyhow, I don't get the same bangs all the time, as the conditions are always different when you're out driving. Sometimes is one, some none, some 2, some 3.
On a side note, take into consideration that the first time you fill her up with "better" fuel, it'll have still ~10l old fuel in the tank.
If Forrest Gump was made in 2018:Mine is the same, I don't always get the same number of pops and crackles.

Really disappointing to not have a single video with sound as evidence of this phantom phenomenon. I run full E85 in my VT and it pops plenty when the exhaust is hot. Non-issue IMO.
Wtf is that? Sounds broken?Really disappointing to not have a single video with sound as evidence of this phantom phenomenon. I run full E85 in my VT and it pops plenty when the exhaust is hot. Non-issue IMO.
