Hello,
I have 1 year old i20N and after 14k km sound from inside in N mode is way quieter than it was. I drive and heard sound change and after that i dont get same sound as before. To be honest i like the sound from Esg. I have like buzzing sound from whole car which is good but on downshift and from the front i dont get aggresive sound like before. Is ti possible that esg has more places from where sound comes? What do you say about waranty?
Thank you guys.

They have been known to fail. ESG should be noticeable in N mode above 4000rpm. Find which fuse it is and pull the fuse for it, compare sound before and after. If it's the same, with no change in noise, I'd get it booked in at the dealer as it will be covered under warranty.

This fuse is at the right of engine bay or under the steering wheel? Fuse number 7 should be removed and replaced with something else or should I leave without nothing? Car should be On or Off when pulling fuse? I will try this later :)

It's under the steering wheel, just take it out when the car's off, you can use the fuse puller that's in the engine bay fuse box (inside of the lid). And yes it is module 7

Sry for the revival.

I got the ESG replaced under warranty and the overall volume is still identical under Sport and Sport+ modes. Seems like the problem is elsewhere. The car got 2 windshield replacements in the past.

Anyone knows how to get the full sound volume back? Or had the same problem?
