Data collected from 12v battery monitor I5N

The most recent firmware updates ensure that the stationary 12V battery maintains functionality down to 10% state of charge on the high-voltage DC pack.

I am unfortunately unable to share those specific screenshots on public forums due to restrictions.
However, I would be happy to explain the logic behind how the onboard DC-DC converter maintains the 12V battery while the vehicle is stationary.
 
Things I've learned so far (from having a battery monitor installed) to reduce 12v battery drain and perhaps extend its life...

I posted this as insights as to what I found drains the 12v battery the most during walkups and while shutdown...I find that most of the features I mention I didn't have activated to begin with and were kind of useless to me...I thought I would just highlight what are the greatest voltage drains for the 12v battery when the ignition is not running...

  1. Turn off auto folding side mirrors
  2. Turn off headlight delay after shutdown
  3. Turn off auto headlights
  4. Turn off rear hatch proximity sensor
  5. Set only the driver's door to unlock during walkup
  6. Set audio system sound to shutoff when the ignition is switched off
I find I need to shut off some of these features because I'm always walking around in my garage with fob in pocket and activating the rear hatch and opening and closing door latches...ha! The headlights produce the greatest power draws when turned on and off without the ignition turned on...

In doing so, I'm able to go roughly 2 days parked with a minimal drop of 0.3v and an ICCU 12v battery recharge of every 2 days...

Thank you for sharing this. Tbh I hadn't really dug down deep in many of the car's settings, I didn't know half of this stuff was even configurable. I recently disabled the walk up door unlock feature, and the welcome mirror on walkup feature. I always found these features annoying because I walk by my car often with my key fob with no intention to go in my car.
 
This is an excellent choice for cold weather, particularly if you expect icy rain and ice accumulation on door handles and side mirrors.
To help prevent premature failure, even with the built-in overload function, I keep my folding mirrors, auto-approach hatch, and auto-unlock door handles deactivated.
Unlocking is easily accomplished with a push of the button on the remote or a touch of your finger on the handle.

I've just disabled these on mine too, everytime I walk past the car with my phone in my pocket it was waking the car up, turning on the lights, unfolding the mirrors and unlockng the doors.

tadda: New member here. Thanks for posting your battery plots in Jan of 2025 --very interesting. You may not remember but I thought you might. You listed "12v Battery Drop of 0.3v over 24hrs. (Parked)" on Jan 3, 2025. But you also wrote "Parked for over 2 days...Observed 0.3v drop over 44.0 hrs before the ICCU is triggered to charge when battery drops to 12.6v..." on Jan 4, 2025. I assume the 44 hours was a typo? I also see 0.3 V drop over 24 hours in my car while parked. Thanks.

Disregard the 44 hours question. I just looked at the BM2 plot.
