Interior Crack under front passenger seat

Hello N-ler,

I've been having a noise coming from the windshield/passenger side for a few weeks now and then, but almost every time I drive.

Today I took the time, before I give in mid-July in the workshop because of it, to look again at the passenger side. I noticed that under the passenger seat the carpet is open.

Do you have that too or is that normal?

I haven't really seen it myself. But I got a call back from the workshop and they confirmed that is what they wanted -> VIN (i check this out the next time)

If it any consolation my sons Kia has the same slit in the carpeting.

Just checked and this exists on my car too - but being in the U.K. it’s under the drivers seat.
