Engine Cold start

Hello everyone

What are your thoughts on running the car with a cold engine. It seems to me that the rev limitation is a little high for what could be considered healthy or am I just too concerned? I don’t have my car yet (July), but is it correct if I saw it's about 5.000 rpm?

And when driving it gently when cold, how long does it take before the engine oil is hot enough to enjoy the car's performance?

The rev lights are way too high for cold. I leave the gauge display on permanently with the oil temp. I only rev it past 3 or 4 K once the oil is up to 90C - usually takes 10-15 minutes to reach full temp.

it's like a red line, doesn't' necessary mean that you should do it.
