Engine Blowoff valve thread

Just figured if I could get most features for 120 less that would be the best option. Just didn't get a great sense of the difference in the 2 models
 
With Red's GFB you can adjust it in the car. Very cool! The one I have you have to use the top screw to adjust spring pressure. The one I have vents back into the intake but can be made to vent to atmosphere. They make a hybrid one too which isn't that expensive. When you are ready to pull the trigger lmk, I have a place I can get them cheaper than anywhere else.

Just depends in the end, what you wish to do. Either way it's not that something Hyundai permits in their track warranty.

The idea here is to get the best function for what you decide in both recirculation or diverted. The GFB T9210, will give you the most adjustability for the lowest cost. It's around $165 and some change. If you order direct from AU as I did, there's not tax added just shipping of course.

The t9010 allows any ratio, I have one and it's excellent.

(But mine is set to 100% recirc, it just felt 'stronger' when boosting. Probably placebo effect)

That's how I felt so I said screw it I'm just going to buy the cheapest one. I personally didn't want the noise and it would be much less suspicious at the dealer. I never took my new BOV off getting that recall update. All of the people working there came over to look at the car. lol... I feel if you are a good honest person people will still help you; even with all this BS going on. I will never give up hope believing that.

The o ring mount on the gfb Mach 2 isn't the same o ring for the VN. Maybe it's for the i30n o ring? Maybe it doesn't matter that the o ring doesn't match? Er, the rubber gasket..
 
The only time I have seen that is if they sent the wrong valve. Sometimes there is a goof up with what is sent. Mine had the right gasket on the bottom of it. No leaks. Maybe take a pic and post it for us to see it? Thanks.
