There are allot of BOV's available, if the i30N units will fit the Veloster N.

Contacted a valve manufacturer and am having a factory valve and cold pipe section sent, in order to create the necessary flange.

There is no spoon.

I have a new question regarding recirculation vs. Atmospheric valves. I have heard on other platforms that if you don recirculate it would possibly hurt performance on the stock tune. Is there any problems on this platform?

OEM valve & cold pipe arrived at its destination yesterday.

There is no spoon.

I ordered the GFB Response TMS T9010 today. I liked the idea of being able to adjust to run full atmo vent while keeping the OEM recirc tube installed and then being able to switch to recirc by adjusting the valve alone to keep it stealth when required.

I will post pics, install and sound clips once it comes in. Just gotta wait for shipping form Au.

In USD, how much it cost?

Either will work efficiently. Atmospheric valves will just make more flutter noise.

In the pursuit of keeping the forums clean and simple. Here’s a thread for BOV options.

Just found this from Boomba racing no pricing yet or availability.

Just paid for mine. Not like it really matters but I like that they are made in N.A. and specific for the Veloster N. They also had a cool video (that could have been fake or something) that sucked me in because it showed the others leaking. Oh and they have red and blue options which seems cool.

GFB makes four compatible valves but this is the one to get:

The picture on that page is incorrect, but here’s the correct one, courtesy of GFB:

Since “BOV” can’t be searched for (4-character minimum), suggest renaming the thread to “Blowoff Valves” in order to locate the information more easily.
Anyone install this yet? I installed mine the other day, have set for full atmospheric venting, with the spring tension adjusted about 2mm above stock flush setting. Can't seem to get very good sound out of it still.. any ideas?

Got mine cranked out till the heads about flush with the casing. And it sounds as good as it’s gonna get

It seems as though the BOV/recirc valve is actuated by a solenoid that controls the vacuum supply from the intake manifold as opposed to the conventional method of just having it hooked up to a vacuum line on the intake manifold directly. Not sure what the reason is, but it seems to only keep the valve open for a very short period of time after the throttle is released, and then closes it again even though there's still pressure in the charge pipes/IC system. If you have an intake, you can hear compressor surge as a result after the BOV/recirc valve closes during this scenario.

It definitely makes for some odd sounding BOV actuations...
