Hi guys. My problem was typical - small exhaust rattle like small coin jumping inside right exhaust pipe (this with the flap inside).
I had ASR spring ordered years ago - just in case of this situation and few days ago I went to hyundai service and told them to swap it with oem spring because of the rattle sound.
You wont belive guys......it wasn't the spring. They unscrew the flap box and punched the exhaust with hand....metalic sound was still there.
Service man asked me to come and see - because I have Remus exhaust and the end tips are "dual pipe" - main exhaust gas pipe is inside and other cover pipe made from carbon is outside. IT WAS A SMALL ROCK between them jumping and making that noise.
This should be end of this stupid story but I told them - you opened the box so change the spring to new one anyway because it is 8 years old.
ASR spring was smaller than oem one and someone here on the forum even saw that it was a bit lower.
After exhaust spring change I took the car, run it, set my typical N custom and...... why so quiet ?!
Drive some more changing drive modes. After few minuters I started to hear pop and bangs but really quiet. Normal/eco - no popcorn, N/custom - quiet but pops/bangs. I drove for now about 200km and still really quiet.
More exaples - before - inside my garage after I started the car and after few seconds changed to N mode sound was instantly deep and loud.
Now - starting the car in the garage - quiet sound, switch to N - zero changes in sound.
Driving on N mode sometimes even at 5000+RPM don't give me exhaust pipe shoot - only some popcorn.

So....the spring hmmm is working because normal/eco is totally quiet, but N/custom is way more quiet than oem but still pop/bangs are present.
Now I'm thinking about few things:
1 - ecu reset - some ppl say to disconnect the battery for 20-30min
2 - wait more for spring adaptation (it will heat or full click inside)
3 - buy new spring - this time from RPM or other - those with more wraps/scrolls and higher than oem
4 - try to put oem spring again inside ?

I saw another weird thing too - starting the cold car - RPMs are droping after few second from 1400 to 1100-1200 and this was normal because of cold oil need some time to flow, but now when I press N mode - RPMs are 1100-1200, then click back to Normal mode and RPMs are droping to under 1000 - something like 900+. Click N again - back to normal 1100+. It looks like Normal mode is closing the valve and choking the engine.
