I’m planning to install an AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler on my Hyundai i30 N and I had a few questions before I go ahead.
How does the intercooler affect turbo lag, if at all? Is there any noticeable difference in spool time or throttle response after installation?
Also, is a remap required right after fitting it, or can it be run safely on the stock ECU for a while without issues?
I’m mainly looking for real-world feedback from people who have already done this mod.
