Accessories & Ideas

Stupidly, although this mirror down feature does work (if you have the Luxury Pack), it dips BOTH mirrors.

In my Honda Legend from 12 years ago, it did it the right way. Flick the mirror switch to the left, and only the left mirror dipped down in reverse, and the same when you flipped it to the right.

This allows you to see the gutter on the kerb side, AND be able to see oncoming traffic on the other side when you are doing a reverse park.

In Romania, we have only Performance pack and you don't have any options to add. I will try later, hope that comfort package is on the car.

Exactly! That’s how it should be

You need the comfort package for that to work tho. This feature don't work without it.
Comfort pack?, I’m in uk with performance pack, my car came fully loaded, I wasn’t aware there were any more options

Maybe it’s differnt for your country, the only other option In the uk was a winter pack (heated wheel and seats), but I think my19 cars already have that anyway

ok well that's strange. In Germany heated seats and heated steering was already stock. Optional "Comfort pack" includes stuff like electric and leather seats the memory function from the seat and the dip function for the mirrors. "Accessory pack" is already standard in the perf and has things like the rain sensor, the smart key and so on and the optional nav. pack includes the 8" screen, Android Auto, Driving Data and stuff like this.

My dealer is so far ignoring my mails, 5500 miles and 6 months

Wore the black carpet down to the base, on the left side near the clutch.

Mailed the manger of the dealership yesterday to escalate.
Maybe try a different dealer? Warranty is still valid.

The hyundai policy is pretty stupid, in the accessories and optionals aspect, every country has one different.

I have a spanish I30 "style lux" comes with absolutely everything: leather, electric memory seats, ventilated and heated, sunroof, full led, smart cruise, blind spot detector, why can not you put this in other models? In Korea the N-Line brings all this for example. In my car I miss a look more sporty

Why N can not bring blind spot detector or smart cruise? Or other useful details that are easy to use the car better.

Regards

"Smart cruise" may not be so smart on a manual shift car.

Not to fond of blind spot detector. Risk of making you lazy.
Remember: Head on a swivel! :p

I agree with Smart Cruise comment... Great if everybody has same system, and there were no mongs who practice the ancient art of Swerve, No Mirror, Indicating is optional... type of lane-change!

My other half's Volvo has it, and you spend most of your motorway life slowing to 40mph and end up 3 miles behind where you should be as people constantly pull in front of you. Result is... I infrequently use cruise control!

Mine doesn't go to circuits either (well, it did last week but not actually on track), but it is a hot hatch, so has to do a bit of everything! ;)

I never understood launching the N in the UK with no heated seats option, but it was available in Australia!!!
Come on keep it real! It can get down to below 10 degrees C sometimes here in Australia. We are used to 30-40 degrees in summer so sub 10 degrees is cold for us so we need the heated seats. I used mine only last week. I know I am soft.
To be serious I do see your point. No heated seats for the UK seems silly.

Hell, below zero in Canberra! (I blame that on the cold hearts of our federal politicians). Anything sub 20 up here feels icy, but not standard in UK?! Outrageous...
