Hey all.
Over the weekend I was playing with a 3D scanner in infra red mod and did a quick run on a engine bay

This is not super precise, but if people here are willing to develop some mods/upgrades, I can do a very precise blue laser scan of certain parts (not whole engine bay, I would go crazy). Are there some people who would be interested in designing something. Would it make a sense?
As you can see, I use Forge intake which lacks any heatshield, I was thinking of scanning intake are with and without the intake to design a custom heatshield, which would be a perfect fit - I'm very busy person, it might take some time.
If anyone wants this model, here is a link to obj file https://drive.proton.me/urls/J9MPAQNW7R#pcFDhfG6OrM1

Love that! Can you do more scans but front and rear bumper? :p

I'm just leaving for a holiday but when I return, I can do the bumper. It might be a bit problematic because it's reflective, but let's see.

I made a quick IR scan of bumper, lot of pieces missing but hard doing on a ground. Also would be best to spray it, use markers and do a laser scan.

As a bonus, I did a scan of caliper cover, which is known to break all the time. We can get it maybe manufactured somewhere else. Caliper is laser scan, you can even see the details of paint peeling off. Someone could use this to model it nicely in CAD.
