Hallo, bought the car few days ago and today I realized the front and rear parking sensors are not working. The thing is.. I cant get "P" button to illuminate blue and also when I test the sensors (car off in acc mode, reverse and then I went behind car and sensor picket up nothing) and also there is NO error codes on dash or diagnostic. Before I take it for small service and to inspect that (as its in warranty), could there really be issues with parking sensors or am I just dumb ?

Hallo! I guess you already looked at it, but just in case, can you check the right side of the gearbox handle? There is a button to turn off the parking sensors, try to see if that helps :)

About the P button not illuminating, I have no idea what do you mean, could you share a photo or something?

Hey, yeah I was talking about that button on right side of gearbox handle, that button doesnt light up when I press it (blue light), and as I checked, that button should light up (blue light) and that means that I disabled front sensors.

I pretty much checked everything, the only wrong thing I could see that is that 2 sensors infront have a light damage from the rock I guess, but the damage is really small but still left sensor without paint (its that small that you have to get close to see it).

To clear it a bit better, here is video of the same button..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msmceAiq2jQ
as you can see, when he presses that button it lights up in blue.. mine doesnt do anything... and I'm not sure what could be the problem since there is 0 errors on dash or diagnostic as I said.

And to show the problem a bit better.. I've found one reddit post with the same problem as me, but sadly it has no comments (well it has 1 comment but its also about asking for help since it has same problem) so idk what the problem.

Then, I'm sorry but the only thing I would say to check, is if there is some fuze that is blown, anyway, I would ask at the dealer for a check

I hope this info helps:
1/ if one sensor is faulty then none of that group will work.
2/ you can tell if a sensor is faulty by activating them such that they should be working. Then place your ear right next to each one - if that sensor is working it will be making a high pitched eeeee noise (quite quietly). If your stone damaged sensor is not making this noise but the others are then it needs to be replaced.
3/ you buy them already colour coded to your car - there are slightly different part codes for each colour and they just plug in - both to the bumper and the wiring loom.
