Thanks for the link, but that appears to be mostly specific to 5th and 6th gear. Which appears to be fine on mine!

I'll let Hyundai know that it's an issue other owners are having then, I'd imagine it'd be less likely they tell me there's nothing wrong with it then.Yep - but it’s a problem applicable to other gears, it’s just been a more common problem from 5th to 6th.

Of course, in a RHD car like the OP's, 6th is the closest gearBecause 6-th gear is located not in most comfortable position to shift (it is located the most far from you), you must be sure that gear lever will move straight (not under small angle, what feels the most comfortable).
did you get yours back yet?My dealer said it's a 1 day job, or maximum 2 days. So get it back on the 3rd day for sure.
No it's not even in yet, waiting for the call, when they get the replacement parts i will take it in.did you get yours back yet?
ahh ok, i should be picking mine up on saturday. will report on the resultsNo it's not even in yet, waiting for the call, when they get the replacement parts i will take it in.![]()
A quick update for you all. I couldn't replicate the issue with a mechanic in the passenger seat (it's always the way).
He said with any other model, they'd take the car in and inspect the box and replace the synchros. However, if there is no gearbox "fault" logged on the car they won't do anything with the N model. As if there is an issue with the N box; they'll likely replace the whole box.
In short, if I get the issue again I'm to go there asap so the fault is logged and they can read it..
It won't.... maybe it'll solve itself![]()
Like speedking said it wont, i had it since i remember and hoped it would go away on it's own, at first i didnt pay much attention to it and just brushed it off, maybe i didnt shift the same intensity or whatever, but now i have 11k kms on the clock and it's still there, from 4th to 5th and from 5th to 6th. Ofcourse it's only occasionaly, but i noticed most of the time it's when i shift on low revs. 2-3k revs shift. Anyway im bringing it in in 2 days to the dealer they have the parts ready and i'll get a replacement car in the mean time. Estimated time is 2 days for the swap.So just to get everything correct: The TSB basically says every car could end up having this problem?
Cause my VIN ends with 9894 and I had it since delivery. Only got 900km on the clock so I'll wait till first service, maybe it'll solve itself![]()
