Hyundai UK rolls out i30 N driver experience days

I'm also on the 19th at 8.30.

I’ve been shimmied to 19th 8.30am slot. Collect my car tomorrow so I get a bit of extra practice beforehand now. I’ll also have to be back to Sussex by 4pm to watch my team take chunks out of Man United again this season, busy day!

Me and the Mrs are on the 19th at 8.30 hopefully I will get yo pick my car up before then as I dont want to have to turn up im the Mrs Astra lol

Its more so i'm just trying to go and watch as they wont let me drive the car anyway
Always worth messaging them but the email did say this so guessing they might not be very flexible:
no guests under the age of 16 are allowed on-site. We strongly advise you not to bring any spectators to the event days as security will only grant access to the guests taking part in the activity.

Just wondered if anybody is going today, I'm interested in purchasing a i30n and have my name down for tomorrow so this seems perfect for me. Due to this event being 170 miles away is it worth me going or should i just go to my local dealer for a test drive?
Thanks in advance.

You should definitely go - no matter how good the road or test drive, you can't properly test this car until you get it on track - it really comes alive so you will get a really good feel for what it can do.
I really think Hyundai should arrange a complimentary track day for every buyer to really appreciate the car.

170 miles is nothing! I’ve already got one and I’m coming from Glasgow to do this! It’s a no brainer to me!

366 miles for me!

Thanks for all the reply's , I'm going in the morning from north Wales, my appointment is 2:30.
For the record I've got a 290 cupra dsg with a sub8 pack on it so will be interesting to compare.

Went today guys, really enjoyable. A bit of 'marketing' but quite well thought out overall, you get to drive the 'alpine' loop which is pretty loopy, cane it down a mile straight, and take it to 100mph on the bowl, which would have been a bit tame if I hadn't done it in the torrential rain today! The rain was so loud I couldn't hear what the instructor was saying. Then finished off with a passenger ride with a professional driver, mine was GOOD!
