whats the difference between this one and racechip for example? RaceChip has 3 connectors why does bluespark only have 2?Cool let me know if you have any problems connecting it to the 2 sensors map and boost. It's really easy though. The hardest bit is pulling apart the connecters, you need to push the grey tab to one side then push down on the end of the tab and it should then pull apart. Let us know what you think when you get it on and drive it. I felt the difference straight away in how it pulls, especially above 3000 revs in full N Mode.
I'm not familiar with the other one you mentioned so I really don't know.whats the difference between this one and racechip for example? RaceChip has 3 connectors why does bluespark only have 2?
also do you have the bluetooth app? Do you think it's useful or you can do everything on the cheap itself easily enough?I'm not familiar with the other one you mentioned so I really don't know.
I was offered the blue tooth control but didn't bother.also do you have the Bluetooth app? Do you think it's useful or you can do everything on the cheap itself easily enough?
Yeah but do you think it's of any use or you can do everything on the stock box?I was offered the blue tooth control but didn't bother.
It's just basically to adjust the map strength up and down and turn it off from your phone via the app.Yeah but do you think it's of any use or you can do everything on the stock box?
Have you tried any other maps or you just stay on the default map? I'm trying to see if the bluetooth thing is actually worth it since it's a considerable amount of moneyIt's just basically to adjust the map strength up and down and turn it off from your phone via the app.

Hi, my tuning box is slightly different to your as it was the one I had on my previous car ( Z4 ) but reprogrammed with the new i20N map.Dear jambo666,
could you tell me, your feelings and/ or tests concerning the seven (7!!!) available maps of the Bluespark Tuning Box?
I suppose that the "E map" is the most powerful!
And that the "0 map" is the mode of "no interference to the i20N's ECU" of the Bluespark Tuning Box?????
Also, I mentioned that, when I made my first connection to the Bluespark Tuning Box, I found that the "C map" was selected!!!!!!!!
Finally, I have the following question:
A very good friend and very fast driver with his i20N told me, that, when he put on his i20N the Racechips tuning Box, he found that there exist a noticable lag in "responce" in conditions with continuous "press and leave" of the gas pedal while he drove in roads with continuous close corners. What is your oppinion about the Bluespark Tuning Box behavior?
Today there was in Athens pretty much rain, so, the next days, after some tests, I will inform you all, about the results of these tests and my feelings concerning the performance of the Bluespark Tuning Box!
Thank you in advance
The installation was absolutely easy with my biggest problem to "unplug" the car's sensors. Furthermore, the cables to the sensors are quite long, so the silver unit (into its black anti-thermal bag) was installed under the "fuse-box" and not between the battery and the air-filter box.Hi, my tuning box is slightly different to your as it was the one I had on my previous car ( Z4 ) but reprogrammed with the new i20N map.
Now the difference is that mine is a larger sealed black box that is quite flat and you only get the 1 configuration so I cannot adjust it in any way. I believe the one you have is the smaller silver metal unit that you can adjust by moving pins, this will effect the power level of the map from minimum to max. Mine is set to max all the time. I don't know why there are different boxes, if you look on the Bluespark website and look for the 2021 BMW Z4 you will see the difference.
My tuning box was ÂŁ299 for the Z4 which is about ÂŁ100 more expensive than the other smaller type you have.
The only reason I have this different box for my i20N is because if you bring in your tuning box from your old car they will simply reprogram it for the new car you have which only costs ÂŁ65. I did ask them if the different box I had is ok for the i20N and was told yes it is no different just that you cannot change the power settings. If I wanted the box you have it would have cost me the full price of around ÂŁ180.
I have had a few other BluSpark boxes on other cars that are the same as yours (the silver one) and if I remember correctly they have it set in the middle of the power range. You can move the pins up and down to adjust how aggressive it is. When I had one on my BMW M140i it was on the highest pin setting. I thought there were 5 different settings but maybe they have now changed it. If I was you the best thing to do is give BlueSpark a call or an Email to ask them about the different settings, or maybe E-Mail them. Other than that test drive it on different settings and see which one feels best to you.
I hope this helps buddy.
Forgot to say, did you manage to install it easy enough with the cable connections to the car sensors?
Yes that's the one, incredible value for ÂŁ175I've ordered onethe correct link for our car is this one: https://bluesparkautomotive.com/hyundai-i20-1-6-t-gdi-1598cc-204ps-265nm-2021-onwards-petrol?new=
I believe Racechip has a camshaft sensor input. There are lots of Bluespark models that use a camshaft input, but its only added, or an option when it's an advantage. On the i20N the box works perfectly with 2 points of connection.whats the difference between this one and racechip for example? RaceChip has 3 connectors why does bluespark only have 2?
I see, well from the dyno figures the bluespark has more power than all the other boxes while being cheaper, racechip advertises 31hp on the highest model and barely makes 219hp so idk why they need the camshaft sensorI believe Racechip has a camshaft sensor input. did you have the chance to check the in car dyno? What does it show for you at peak with the box? My car is always showing 218hp at peak power I wonder if that's anywhere near correct. I have the pipercross CAI, gpf delete and flexi from rpmYes that's the one, incredible value for ÂŁ175![]()
Racechip gts cars are making 240-250bhp when dynod depending on what mods they have on.I see, well from the dyno figures the bluespark has more power than all the other boxes while being cheaper, racechip advertises 31hp on the highest model and barely makes 219hp so idk why they need the camshaft sensor
on car jackals when they dyno'd it, it showed 223HP and JP Performance showed 219HP so idk bro that's quite a long way from 240hp - 250hp, also find it funny that racechip themselves have a video putting the car stock on the dyno and with the pipercross filter but not with their product lol... and these are HP figures not BHP which means the BHP is even lowerRacechip gts cars are making 240-250bhp when dynod depending on what mods they have on.
I have seen 3 make over 240, 1 over 250
Forge motorsports car make 248bhp with racechip gts.
