mods if you're going to delete my posts please at least PM me and let me know what I did wrong.

Moving on, is there any way to fix the 2nd gear shift issues on these cars ?

It was deleted after having this comment, as far as I know there is only a solution with readjusting the cables or it leaves on its own. In my facelift I have a 60% chance I get into first on my first try.

I believe they would like you to utilize the search engine first, as most do before posting. 95% of all questions have been covered previously in on going threads.

It saves time and trouble for the moderators and those also searching for similar issues. Stops duplications of subject matter and keeps the forum orderly for all members.

Moving on, please post your question in the provided link of the ongoing thread.
Don’t be supprised if this one is moved or deleted as well. Additionally, if you’ll calm down and take the time to look at the provided link, your post was not deleted but moved to this thread👍🇺🇸🇺🇸

I did not see any issues in the EN forum. I know the drivetrain is the same but the linkages are probably a different length. Also I am not having issues with 5th or 6th, and from reading said link I'm having an entirely different issue.

My reverse lockout let's me go too far left is what my issue is. I also dont really have an issue getting into 1st it's just second.

It's all the same problem with different parts of the element.

All shifting problems are related, when it comes to shift linkage adjustments in the N-family. First, search for like issues and threads, read fully and then follow the instructions for a fix.
Most all of this has been covered by previous models in the same thread. The length of the cable linkage for the Elantra N is no longer than the i30N because, the i30N chassis is the Hyundai Elantra in the USA. Wheel bases are very similar in length and they don’t make special parts for one particular model N. The only difference being the Kona N to the Kona.

I’m willing to bet, it‘s the same cable linkage used in the VN, Elantra N and the i30N. This is how Hyundai operates with their chassis, drivetrains and subsystem parts. Cuts down on overall cost of manufacturing. GM has been doing this across their models for decades.👍🇺🇸
