I'm doing around 3K miles in my KonaN which is a purely 'leisure' vehicle for me. I don't have any finance on it as I paid cash and I use a Navara pick-up as my daily driver; so despite the rising fuel costs and poor mpg on the KonaN, my infrequent use balances it all out. That said, I have a tendency to start window shopping around the two year mark ...

My wife last car we had for 7 years. My Saab I had for 8 before I bought an Elantra Sport as its replacement. Got the Elantra on the cheap before COVID and got more than I paid for it when I got my Kona N. Even after taxes, title, fees, insurance, etc I made around $500 on the Elantra.

My wife car will be paid off next year and mine in a little over four years or sooner. If I get offered a ransom on my Kona N I would sell it as we really only need one vehicle between us. Though having the second does help.

My Kona is like your it is more leisure than anything else. It's a toy car for me. My wife car is the family hauler and the Saab is the beater car. I only got into the Kona because I got it below MSRP and got more than I wanted for the Elantra Sport.

Will there be a 2024 Kona N?
This car is growing on me. I feel like it would be a more practical daily than my Velo N. Ironically, the Kona N only has 1.3 more cubic feet of space, LOL
