That‘s a known issue, unfortunately. Many others here in the forums experienced the same. Usually opening a case via PayPal might help.

Road testing today :) : Wagner intercooler, Pipercross air filter element, Scorpion Flex pipe, Courtenay Sport silenced GPF delete, HKS spark plugs and a Power Flex Purple Lower Torque Mount bush. After some Dyno time we managed to get 305BHP/478Nm (was 285BHP/441Nm with just a re-map, last year), but it was pretty warm in the cell, again..

I saw this when you first installed the Forge Motorsport CC Kit. Didn't think about where your hose was laying at the time. What I did; was suspend the hose with a hose clamp to the firewall.

This keeps it off the shield and away from melting the hose shielding. I'm also adding a DEI heat shielding Fire Wrap or Aluminized Heat Sheath on that particular hose.

Mine didn't touch the turbo but cover under the front strut.
I don't know that this gold cover will be good solution - I'm afraid direct touch can still burn it too.
 
Do you see where my clamp is installed on the firewall? This is where you need to install one to keep it off the heat shield. It will suspend the hose about a inch or so above the heat shield and not allow it to touch.

Yesterday I changed my broken untertray to a new one. Durign the removal I found another bird who got stuck there (it's the second one in a few weeks now...). Don't ask me how they get there, got the feeling I have a bird-magnet in my car oO.

Here's a pic of the old, broken undertray:

It snapped as I lost a few bolts along the way and the autobahn did the rest.
I got myself new bolts (M6x25mm in case you were wondering) together with some washers and spring washers. Tightened everything with a bit of loctite - now those little guys should stay in place ;).
Paid 140€ for the genuine replacement part.

I wouldn't rely upon a plastic tie wrap though. They are prone to deteriorate in higher heat applications. This is why I rely upon a proper aircraft grade hose clamp. Because of the proximity to the turbocharger and the heat it produces, it can become an issue when least expected. :) 👍
 
Unwrapped her after returning from a three week vacation down south. Was only supposed to be a couple of weeks but COVID lockdowns in multiple states presented some challenges. I love coming home from holidays these days, it's like opening a Xmas present you know you're going to get.

I had the pleasure of playing with some fun toys that my brothers-in-law have while I was down there - GR Yaris, Husaberg FE450 dirt weapon, Ducati Multistrada (wow) and the crowning glory - widebody R33 (with R34 bits) Skyline GT-R.

I must be getting old - the Skyline terrified me. 630 HP at all four wheels is just too much for me these days. I thought it was proper fast even before that Precision 62/66 kicked in for real. As you can see by the fuel system (and just on 98 pump fuel) this thing has a worse drinking habit than I do:

I thought my N would feel a bit lethargic and boring after all that, but no - it has that X-factor or je ne sais quoi (as the French would say) that those other vehicles just don't have. I still love her dearly. Good to be home.

A few weeks have passed since I started working on my audio upgrade.
Designed and 3D printed very specific 23mm speaker rings. Took me 6x ~11hour print attempts since my printer kept giving me the middle finger 👻
Insulated front doors, Focal PS165FE + Match M 5 DSP MK2. Still have to fine tune the DSP's but stock it's already sounding very good!
