Anyone having issues with gear changing? MY car has 10000 km and since its not shifting amazing. It feels very notchy most of the time. 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th feels gritty and like shifting in two steps. Recently, with the Good Weather i’ve been pushing it and the downshift from 3rd to 2nd sometimes IS ass, super super notchy but doesent grind at all.

Yes mine isn't great going from 2nd to 3rd, my car has about 15,000 miles on it. To be honest through its never been that good even from brand new. I think i will mention it to Hyundai next service and get them to do a gearbox oil change. I know a few people that have changed gearbox oil on this forum so maybe worth seeing if theirs is any better after a change.

Thank you for repliying. I have the first service next wednesday and i will mention it. But the gearbox oil change will not be free sadly. Also, do your clutch pedal sometimes vibrate, i mean you can feel the engine rpm through the pedal sometimes and when it wants its totally smooth.

No problem, yes gbox change will not be free. Defiantly worth a mention as it maybe covered under warranty if there is a fault. No don't experience any vibration at all.

My car is two years old and has done 11,000 miles. Even with the short shifter that I recently installed the changes between every gear feel the same. Yes there is the sense of it going into the gear but that’s what all good gearboxes feel like.

Hello I have recently installed a foresight short shifter and since installing it shifting felt really weird, like really smooth but there is like no resistance, my car has 70000 km and I haven’t changed the gearbox oil, what could be the issue?

What setting did you choose for the Foresight (that’s the same short shifter I have).

I also have vibration on the clutch pedal. My gear shifts are ok, I cannot say they're rough but there is a two stage feeling indeed, not on every gear though. Feels like some gears require more force then others when switching. I've noticed it before but after reading this thread I started focusing on it more. I have a little over 3k kms on the clock.

I remember reading the syncros on first 3 gears are of a different material than the rest. Don't know if this could be contributing.

Mine still has it at 15000 km. It hasnt worsened. The hortet the clutch the more it vibrates, especially un tràffic jams. Give it two fast takeoffs and its Verger for a while. Its very weird.

Mine 26000Km in Spain, same feeling from 10-15k km idk why. SOmetime it's "hard" changing to 3

Nella mia auto non riesco a cambiare velocemente dalla 6a alla 3a a 70 km/h, si impunta, la leva si blocca. Hyundai Italia dice che non è possibile passare dalla 6a alla 3a.
Mi sembra una bugia enorme.
