I own a 2021 Hyundai i30N DCT with 60k km (produced in CZ), with no modifications, bone stock.
A month ago I was driving normaly (not pushing the car) when all of a suden the car started jurking, stuttering, missfiering and a huge amount of white somoke comeing out of the exhaust and also a strong smell of gasoline (CEL was also on). Pulled over the car was struggeling to idle and the smoke keept comeing until the car died.( It s not the first time when the rough idle and stuttering happend to me, on another ocasion the car had the same problem but no smoke and no cel, took it to the dealer just to tell me it was fine.
).I was 100km from home so I just started the car and gave it some gas so it won't die on me and started driving back home straight to the dealer, after 2 min of driving the white somke went away, but the car was still stuttering and missfiering, after like 10 more km of driving with the missfire the car went back to normal like nothing happend ( but i was in luck cuz the CEL was still on). Long story short took it to the dealer, it was a missfire on cyl3, and the car was at 58k km they pointed to the spark plugs as it was time to change them. I did so, also changed the oil cuz the smell of unburnt gasoline scared me. Took the car back and after 800km again the same problem exact same smoke, missfire, cel, but only this time after I restared the car the cel went away. Took the car to the dealer as fast as I could ( it happend in the weekend so it took 2 days). Also checked the oil level and it was above MAX with 2-3cm on the stick with a strong smell of gasoline. I showed them videos with the smoke the missfires and the cel, they said they will contact me after looking into it. They did so, telling me that they didn't find any error code memorized by the ecu and they can't do anything. I feel helpless in this matter cuz everytime I bring the car to the dealer the error code is gone and the car runs fine (it is like an on and off thing), I susspect a stuck injector dumping fuel in the cyl, unburnt fuel then goes in the exhaust causing the smoke and part of it goes into the oil, keep in mind i changed the oil 800km ago.
Any opinion or recomandation would be grate, I still have warantty. I will also atache some videos.
