i30N DCT daily and track (sometimes ;))

Hi everyone!

Here’s my i30N Performance Blue. I bought it completely blindly based on a friend’s recommendation and some YouTube reviews. To this day, I’m in love with it — every time I start the engine, a smile automatically appears on my face. Since I picked it up from the dealer, I’ve done almost 42,000 km in just 2 years!

It’s my daily, but I also take it to the track from time to time, so the modifications I do are not in the style of “straight-cut gears.”

Modification list:

• Purple PowerFlex gearbox mount insert
• HEL stainless steel braided brake lines
• Continental SportContact 7 tires
• EBC YellowStuff brake pads
• Black badges
• Forge oil cooler FMOC13
• Wagner intercooler
• GPF delete

After a few laps on the Nürburgring, the oil temperature hit around 140 °C, so I added an oil cooler — now it stays around ~90, sometimes up to 114. However, after 25 laps I nearly finished off the YellowStuff pads, so next I’ll try DBA Extreme Performance. I’ll also be switching to 18″ track-focused wheels and adding brake cooling ducts.
