Future of petrol N cars

Lots to think about
Interesting article seems strange they are thinking of going down the hybrid route because of emissions regs,
Suzuki did the same thing with their swift sport, then they tuck that off sale not long after its introduction. Not sure if they are making a new one out of the newest incarnation would be nice to see what it would look like if they did.
As for hyundia saying they are not going to make the N cars strictly electric, is nice, as I fail to get excited about electric cars that's what happens when you get old I suppose.
But having said that it's going to happen, all cars whether performance or just get you to the shops run abouts are going to be electric.
I read alot about other car manufacturers particularly Toyota trying their level best to create engines that run on water and I think they mentioned ammonia as well.
l can't see why they are bothering there's been far to much investment put into electric vehicles.
Can't turn around now can they??.
