How To: Headunit firmware & GPS navigation maps update

The bolinden forum came up with the Mobis software today as well as the maps. Just updated mne and now get these versions.
Slight problem though, their website crashed and lost the last 2 days of posts, so the links are not listed until they're uploaded again.

Any noteworthy changes you've seen so far on the new software?
 
Much more detailed camera warnings, ability to swipe sideways on usb music to select different tracks and albums. Easy access shortcut to destinations. 3d maps and loads of different zoom levels, also 3d buildings. That's only on a quick ten minute drive. I updated my wife's Kia Stonic a few weeks ago and I think it's a massive improvement.

All updated! Its a worthwhile update, bit more modern looking now and loving the artwork on the home screen when using Android Auto. Very cool :cool:

Great work once again @Jajodu for investigating all this and the links.

Noticed in the old/new comparison 2 new Milk scheme (default).
does default mean we can change the design?

There are 3 choices:
Milk (Default)
Cafe Latte
Mocha

Basically lightest (Milk) is default and you can make it darker with the other two options. I've used the middle one (Cafe Latte) as I found Milk is a bit too washed out.
