Speculation: i30N availability in EU?

Hi, apologies if this was posted elsewhere, I couldn't find it.

I live in Sweden and was unpleseantly surprised that all new orders of the i30N are frozen and paused until further notice.🇸🇪 I'm interested in the i30N DCT8 Performance Fastback with regular electric seats (not sport), ideally Phantom Black or Sunset Red. Upon talking to the dealership, it seems the production has been discontinued (?) and completely unknown on when and if it will resume.

Questions:
Is that it regarding the i30N in the EU, game over?
Is there anyone else in the EU that has successfully ordered an i30N on this forum?

Many thanks, sad times we live in. :(

Just wait, they stopped the orders because of the new Facelift coming in November.

Could you explain why stop selling the current model if the 2nd facelift is 2+ months away?
Maybe it's just me, but I simply do not follow the logic, thanks.

ps: also, I've heard rumors of the 2nd facelift being released as late as April 2024, in which case it makes even less sense.

Probably because they want to stabilize the pipeline of orders and they know that last minute orders will still trickle from various markets, so they probably wait for a month or two to flush all incoming orders to know exactly how many previous model cars to produce. In parallel they reconfigure the production lines and ordering systems.

Thanks - keep in mind I do not know when had the "order freeze" actually begun. It could've begun months ago. So far I've checked Sweden and Croatia and neither allow for ordering the i30N. I still think it makes no sense, to be honest, unless they're experiencing severe delivery shortages (for whatever reason) or the demand is simply not there, hence EU is deprioritized until further notice.

Speculation... Has anyone ordered an i30N in the EU?
I guess I'll wait, but curious to see what comes out of this. I'd appreciate anyone in the EU who knows more to share info, thanks!

I also think they stop order due to the upcoming facelift. In USA, they just launch the new elantra N. We are talking about this topic here:

Seems logical to me, they will cut production and clear existing orders and then switch to the 2nd facelift and resume production.

As a customer you need to know what it is you are getting when you place the order.

If November is the release date then expect orders to open again within a month or two.

I'm very interested in the changes as soon as someone finds them, let us know.

Well I've never heard of manufacturers "disconnecting" the adjacent facelift sales. If anything, there's usually an overlap where the previous car gets offered at a discount or something to clear them out. I guess it's crazy times, more for some manufacturers than others.

Good luck with that, I waited 11 months to get mine arrived last week.

The price went UP NZD$3000 since I ordered it.

They don't need to discount the i30N's, clearly in certain configurations and colours they are very hard to get.

Its Crazy times, has been for years now.

I ordered a DCT with NLS on the 1st August here in the UK. I was told it would be March '24 next year.
I called Hyundai customer services who called the factroy. I was told new orders won't be built until Feb '24.
I got a call from the dealer and they told me N Light Seats have been discontinued in the UK. I cancelled my order.
I phoned around the dealer network near me and after a couple of hours I found a car about to go into production that was ordered back in March. I have been told it will be ready in November for collection from the dealer.
Sunset red is gone and so are NLS, at least here in the UK.
I heard from the dealer and Hyundai customer services the Feb' made UK cars won't be much different from the current 23 model apart from the details I have mentioned.

Couldn't really figure that Sunset red as an option however the biggest problem with the total lack of availability of these cars at dealers or even out on the roads its hard to see the actual colour when all you have is the brochure.

Couldn't even see the Engine Red before I bought the car but it was definitely my first choice. Second choice would have been the blue, sunset red, white, grey, then black.
