Hi folks.
Can anyone tell me how to turn on the shift LEDs on the new model?
Mine are currently off but I don't see anywhere in settings to turn them on.

Note that I've tried both with the car engine running and with it in ACC mode but can't for t he life of me see where to turn these on.

I've got a FL model but don't see it in those menus.
Are the settings in thr same place in the FL new model?

I've tried both with the engine off and on as I know some menus only show up with the engine on.

The user manual doesn't have anything related to it ?

In the pre FL " Go to ‘User Settings ➝ Convenience ➝ Shift recommendation light ➝ ECO/NORMAL/SPORT/N/CUSTOM’.
That selects which modes the lights operate in.
The manual attached in the i30n bible thread says exactly the same thing. I'll have a look at it later.

Try on N mode, “perfomance options”.

ok, I do have a question.
you have done all the "break in" driving and already pushing the car that hard to get high in the revs to have the lights on ?

ok cool.
Have in mind that the exhaust bangs and crackles happen earlier than the gear change lights.
Try to push it harder towards the rev red zone and see if the lights come on.

Managed to find it. Thanks for the help folks.
I just didn't realise that the "star" icon on the LCD was the "custom" button.

I've set the RPM to as low as it will go (6000) but have only managed to get the first white LED to come up.
Will have to take it on some spirited driving me thinks...
